"The New Worship" of JESUS Becomes the Heartbeat of the Home
If there is a worship model then our experience is that it begins at home. It is the same for others that share the experience. It is the heartbeat of our lives. We can't wait to meet with the Lord and to feast on His presence as the core of our lifestyle. Others have called it CommunionFire Life, Breakfast with JESUS and the Bread, the Wine & the Coffee! It seems that when it takes root at home the roots grow deeper and stronger and the fruit grows in abundance.
The more we "Do this" as JESUS requested, the more the experience grows. For example my wife has an encounter with the Lord at the Table and JESUS says, "I will never leave you or forsake you" while He is looking tenderly right at her. Then the Holy Spirit whispers, "He delights to give you His goodness!" Then afterwards we discuss it. She will share while having coffee and then I share, "Well I saw JESUS on the beach and he was stretching His hands over the sea. Then while drinking from the cup He says, "I give you the sea and the whole world!" (Wow Lord!)
While we talk I try to make a few notes about it in our journal. As we each share, the Holy Spirit leads into a discussion how the Lord always seems to be "always so giving" to us. The Father gave His only Son. JESUS gave us His forgiveness and righteousness. (Our observations start pouring out.) So we begin to study the Scriptures and we find scripture after scripture about how much God gives to us. JESUS gives us the Holy Spirit. He gives all all things to enjoy. He gives us healing and blessings. There are so many blessings! He gives us His story, His life. Its as though one encounter after another creates the sense of a 'surprised by joy' every day. These encounters and discussions we have give us something to treasure. We share the Love JESUS gives to us. It makes us treasure each other even more. Our lives are becoming lost in the fire of His love, peace and joy.
It is in your personal encounter with the Lord alone or with room mate, spouse or family. The worship finds its greatest strength as a daily or regular occurrence in the household. It is our encounter with JESUS and sharing about it or journaling at home that our hearts begin to overflow.
Do you 'have to have Communion' or experience CommunionFire? You do not 'have to' take Communion, have Communion, receive Communion or be a part of Communion. Its like shaking hands with a friend or stranger or kissing your spouse or hugging your children. You don't 'have to'. It is a gift! You get to! You receive it and enjoy it and share it. JESUS created a way to enjoy His presence. It is for those who hunger and thirst, the weary, the worshiper, the worker. It is an open Table and JESUS is looking forward to sharing His life with you!
If you have begun to share Communion on a regular basis CommunionFire is inevitable if you just look for JESUS in the breaking of the bread. When you drink the cup you may encounter the Holy Spirit like the down pour of the sound of rain, a gentle breeze or touch or His whisper. You may experience His embrace, His peace, His presence to heal. You may see Him or hear Him... whatever it is, you encounter JESUS by the power of the Holy Spirit. He will lead you into truth, help you remember things JESUS did or said or show you things to come. Jesus said He had to leave to send the Holy Spirit to do these things for you. He just has so much to share with you beginning with His life, love and joy!
When the veil is pulled back, the curtain is torn from top to bottom (as in the Temple in Jerusalem when JESUS said, "It is finished!", when you close your eyes to the temporal, He will open your eyes to see the eternal. It is then that He clothes us to meet others in this world to share His life with them. It is the overflow. Out of your core flows a river of life!
